Our art consists of a myriad of styles: photojournalism, advertisements, fine art, illustrative, and gritty cultural essays, to name a few. {Baisa} is all about visual beauty, in whatever form that takes on for us and our clients.

We are a couple–in love with each other and our work–and have combined studios. We are Jackie (formerly Donnelly Images) and Rick (formerly Mazzafoto), and we are parents to Rick’s son, James, who is our latest photography intern at age 8. Together, we are the sum of our parts.

We will also be teaching photography workshops in Fall 2009 on such subjects as finding your photographic style, pushing your own artistic limits, and finding clients. Rick has a Masters degree in education and enjoys teaching and sharing what he knows to those eager for knowledge. We are already conducting private one-on-one photography mentorships which we enjoy and is providing us with helpful experience for conducting the upcoming workshops.

Aside from being photographers and teachers, we are foodies, music fanatics, travelers, and armchair philosophers. We also like really strong coffee, wiener dogs, good people, lots of laughter, and foggy mornings.
